My ideal NYE party outfit

Sorry for not posting much lately, I was on vacation in Canada and then I’ve been incredibly busy as I am going to move to a new place very soon. I am super stoked as I am also going to start a new, very exciting job :-)
Anyways, this is my idea of a cool New Years Eve outfit. I love dresses except I’ve always frozen my bum off (living in Germany). Hence this year I am going to dress more casual and add a couple of cool accessories instead. The individual pieces can be found on your left hand side if you scroll down a bit, I put the outfit together on Shopsense.
The outfit idea actually started with the bag… I have been looking for a kinda every day black bag for a while now and I almost got the CC Skye Onie Messenger but then I found this fantastic Chloe bag and I fell in love right away. So now I am torn between the two, whereas the Chloe bag is definitely not in my budget (yet). I really think it’s a great bag to wear from day to night; it’s just big enough to stuff my day to day
life in it but not bulky. Besides the bag, I chose grey skinny jeans as I love pairing washed-out grey skinnies with everything sparkling and fancy. So I added a shiny grey/silver top, a short black blazer with accented shoulders, a long leather necklace and a bold ring. Comfy wedge ankle boots and an amazing, warm fur coat (love the two colors!) finish my ideal NYE Party Outfit :-)
What do you think of it? And what are you wearing for NYE?

Hi from Canada!
I am in Victoria BC, Canada, for a 3 week vacation and had a fantastic day in the city today. You would think it’s generally super cold in Canada but it’s pretty mild here on the West Coast. So I was just fine with my navy H&M autumn coat and a light leopard printed scarf. We went to the clothing store Club Monaco and I got a great deal on a cute skirt, which I will post about later on. After, we went to the best Mexican restaurant that probably exists outside Mexico; it’s called Hernandez and is on Yates Street downtown Victoria (in case you are in Victoria sometime, you HAVE to go).
I hope you all have a nice weekend! xox
MY HALLHUBER WISH LIST
Hallhuber is fulfilling Christmas wishes guys! This is my personal Hallhuber Wish List and I am crossing fingers that these three stunning pieces will be mine soon :-)
I chose this amazing 50’s inspired red dress as I love the classy cut combined with the bright color. To add a personal touch to the dress, I added a super cute pink clutch. I really like the color blocking between the two pieces. At last, as a basic yet very important piece for the winter, I picked the cozy black sweater. I’d wear that with black leather pants/leggings and throw on a long olive-green vest.
And now guess what.. On the HALLHUBER Style-Blog you can create your own Hallhuber Wish List with a value of up to 300 Euro! You just have to ‘like’ Hallhuber on Facebook and post the links to your favorite pieces from the Hallhuber online shop into a comment here. Every Monday until Christmas, a winner is picked to receive her Wish List, and the best news; you can enter the competition every week! Good luck :-)
I finally found the perfect winter coat!
I’ve tried on so many different coats the last couple weeks and it seemed impossible to find one that fulfilled all my criteria (I admit I was very picky this year):
- The coat had to consist of at least 50% quality wool (it has to keep me warm right?!)
- It had to have a hood (my hair get horribly frizzy with the slightest humidity).
- It had to fit my winter sweaters/capes underneath.
- And it had to be reasonably priced.
I know I know, it’s a lot to ask from a single winter coat but thanks to Asos, I found my perfect match ;-) It was love at first sight. It has a bit of a balloon shape, which makes it absolutely perfect for wearing my big winter sweaters underneath. I also love the hood, it’s HUGE and so comfy. And I really like the kinda short sleeves; I’ll get a longer pair of black leather gloves so that my arms won’t be unhappy. What kind of winter coat are you wearing this year?
Theme: “Little and fashionable”
I just found the cutest pics from Sarah on Josie loves where she proved that she’s already been fashionable at a very young age! I always loved to play around with my Mum’s clothes, bags and jewelry when I was little so I thought I’d follow Josie loves’ idea. Here are some pics of my little self :-)
A swing in the living room? Hell yea!
I am going to move into a new apartment soon so I’ve been poking around lots online to collect some ideas for the interior design. It’s just as much fun as looking at different fashion pieces and styles. “Putting together” an apartment is just like putting together an outfit. There are vintage pieces and modern pieces, different colors, materials and patterns as well as the decoration and accessories respectively. Mixing different styles, materials and colors is not only a huge trend in fashion right now, it can also be used to create the most appealing interior designs!
I collected a couple of photos for inspiration and want to share them with you. The respective source is below each photo. Enjoy!

Granny’s jewelry ♥

I was speechless when my Granny gave me a handmade piece of jewelry the other day that came all the way from Peru to Germany with my Grandpa after the Second World War in 1945. What an honor to be given such a unique necklace that has so much history! Thank you Granny ♥
